required gear

Alpine Racing:

The only required piece of gear is a FIS-certified helmet for GS races. No other gear is required but some team members have race skis, will wear speed suits, and use guards.

Snowboard Racing:

Like ski racing, in snowboard racing, a FIS-certified helmet is required. No other gear is mandatory.

If you are interested in racing and do not have the required helmet, you should be able to borrow a helmet from a team member.
